Student Travel Schools Foundation (STSF) is currently seeking an experienced area representative for international students. STSF is proud to have been successfully placing international students with host families in and around the area for over twenty years and want to keep this welcoming tradition alive. Our belief is that international student exchange is a unique and vital source of knowledge and an empowering supplement to both the American student's and the exchange student's education and experience. STSF is recognized as one of the leading student exchange organizations and strictly adheres to criteria established by the CSIET and the Department of State.
Local Coordinator responsibilities include:
Identifying schools openings for international exchange students and building relationships with school officials.
Recruiting American families to host an exchange student for an academic year or semester.
Screening host families interested in hosting international students.
Providing orientations and group outings for international students and host families.
Acting as a support person for host families and international students throughout the student's stay in the U.S.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 25 years of age.
1-2 years of Marketing and PR experience.
Prior experience as a local coordinator for international students preferred.
Experience working for a non-profit highly desirable.
Supportive, caring and responsible individuals only.
Have access to a computer and Internet.
Have access to a car and a clean driving record.
STS Foundation offers a competitive compensation package, including national and international travel opportunities. This is a part-time, home-based, independent contractor position.
