Exchange students impact the communities that welcome them by sharing their culture and giving the people around them the opportunity to share theirs. Schools and communities that welcome exchange students help build international bridges and break down cultural barriers. The students at the school get to learn about the culture of the world outside the classroom and receive firsthand knowledge about another country and culture that cannot be gained by reading books or watching videos.
